Full Job Description

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our Community Nursing teams in the Durham and Derwentside localities. The teams provide a service between the hours of 8am and 9pm 7 days a week on a duty roster. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to adult patients in their own home or residential care setting. Successful applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the NMC, additional training specific to the role can be provided., The Community nursing team provide both planned and reactive care including Urgent Community Response.

You must be able to produce ALL certificates stated essential in the person specification or you will not be able to complete pre-employment checks

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
