Full Job Description

Assess plan and evaluate individual care and assess health needs .

Running a clinic bed and be responsible for assessing and evaluating wound care. Referring to other specialists or GP as required.

Store and maintain clinic records in accordance with trust records health policy.

Act as a mentor for pre registration nursing students.

Participate in audits.

This includes working within the Community Dressing Clinic, Doppler/Stocking Clinic. We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who has a keen interest in wound care and leg ulcer management and would have preferably completed a tissue viability module. Essential to have completed the Leg Ulcer Course and be confident in compression bandaging. Experience within community district nursing would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team reporting to the team leader but would also be required to work autonomously, delivering evidence-based care. Good interpersonal skills are essential as you will be communicating with a wide range of health professionals involved in the patients care.
