Full Job Description

Applications are welcome from those who are due to qualify. Allowing you to gain valuable experience working in the Community, we can start you as a Nursing Auxiliary, Band 4. You would be accompanied with a registered nurse, but would attend any non-registered visits (simple tasks) on your own., Reference Information: Please ensure your application is submitted with referees who can verify your employment/ education history over the last three years and include valid business email addresses for them. Salary Expectations: The Trust pays staff in line with national NHS Terms and Conditions. Relevant experience may be considered when salary offers are made.
Restricted Applications: Staff on the Trust's Redeployment Register will be given priority access to vacancies at their substantive band.

Whilst community experience would be an advantage we are keen to recruit those who have relevant transferable skills who are enthusiastic to develop their career in the community setting., You will be required to work predominantly day shifts on a flexible rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays; however you may be required to work shifts across the 24 hour period depending on service needs. Access to a car for work purposes is essential.
The posts require good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and approachable. You will have a sound knowledge of recent changes within the NHS and current professional issues. You will be working in a lone capacity under the direction of a Team Leader and in conjunction with other team members, ensuring clinical standards are maintained using evidence based practice.
You will have a good knowledge of the components of Clinical Governance, Best Practice, Risk Management, Clinical Audit and relevant Professional Codes. You will be flexible, adaptable and reliable and be able to evidence excellent clinical skills.
