This devoted organisation brings together existing services: STEPS (Short Term Enablement & Planning Services), and Corserv Care & Support (Homecare/long term care).

What you'll be doing:

Supporting and assessing individuals within their own homes.
Supporting service users to access community opportunities.
Working with families, healthcare professionals and occupational therapists.
Supporting service users with their daily living skills. Including personal care, meal preparation & housekeeping.

Competitive Rates of Pay & Hours:

£12.36 per hour for Support Worker (no experience required, full training and continuous development provided, job shadowing, team support, 1:1 supervisions and annual Appraisals, opportunity to achieve qualifications, career pathway).

Time & half enhancement on Bank Holiday's, PLUS a day back in TOIL.

Time & half for overtime, over 40 hours.

Guaranteed weekly hours from 14 up to 36 hours per week.

Permanent hours & casual bank staff opportunities available.

Guaranteed Payment of your Contracted Hours:

You are always paid for a full shift, even in the event of a client cancellation.

This includes travel, and contact time, for a consistent and worry-free salary.

Mileage Allowance: 45p per mile.

Plus, after probation period of 6 months, you could join our 'Car Lease Scheme'.

Location: You will join the West CORNWALL team and support our service users in the West areas of Cornwall. Some service users will be in close proximity to your home location and some you will need to travel to.

Training: Accredited comprehensive lead to succeed training (funded by us!)

Pension: A generous pension scheme with employer contribution.

Equipment: A full uniform, full PPE provided, work SMART phone, Lone working device & DBS provided.

Annual Leave: 31 days (including Bank Holidays). This is pro-rata for part time working patterns. Option to buy extra leave.

Shift Pattern: We are ideally looking for carers that can be very flexible to our service needs at this time. All rounds start at 7:00 - 13:00, the evening rounds start at 17:00 and finish at the latest 21:00 and working every other weekend is mandatory.

You will have a regular Week A/Week B rolling rota to help promote a healthy work-life balance, and for ease of mind.
