Full Job Description
My name's Holly Stephens and I am the Service Manager for the CMHT in West Norfolk.
In our service we support working age adults who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. We have creative and skilled staff who provide the support that is needed - and they are motivated to make a real difference to those with mental health difficulties, their families and carers.

We're looking for an individual who can lead and inspire others - within a context of change, and sometimes challenge.
As an employer, I and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust are particularly committed to enabling our staff to do the very best they can through support, supervision and training, as well as opportunities for progression. We are confident, therefore, that the right candidate will have a real chance to make a positive impact to the lives of people in West Norfolk., When you join us, you'll be working alongside the local leadership team, Principal Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrists and Community Team Manager colleagues across the service, and will manage a team who provides mental health and psychologically informed services for adults in our communities.
This is an exciting time of transformation of mental health services in our region; creating opportunities to recognise and consolidate what services are doing well, whilst driving creativity to radically change service delivery. We're looking for a clinically-informed leader who can help drive positive changes.
You'll be compassionate, approachable and person centred whilst supporting with the day to day delivery of our service; providing supervision to staff, giving structure and direction to how the service functions, and giving attention to the quality of our support to adults in West Norfolk.

DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK (formerly CRB)
FOR POSTS WITH DIRECT SERVICE USER CONTACT - Please be advised that due to recent changes in the DBS Service, organisations no longer receive copies of DBS Disclosures - these are sent directly to candidates only. Therefore, it will be your responsibility, if successful, to ensure that this is taken to the appointing officer as soon as you receive it.
Alternatively, if you have subscribed to the update service, we will be able to check your status once we have your authority to do so.
The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
