Full Job Description

As a Companion, you'll enjoy being able to shape your own role, working closely with residents to find out how you can support them best, both individually and in groups. Each of our residents is unique and you'll establish meaningful relationships to ensure they enjoy a safe, comfortable environment. What you'll do:
- Support with meaningful activities: Help organise and participate in group activities, encouraging physical, mental and social stimulation.
- Support with nutrition and hydration: help during meal times with serving and assisting residents as needed.
- Promote Independence: Encourage residents to make personal care choices and support their self-care and independence.
- Access the community: support residents to access the community through attending medical appointments or taking them shopping or to the library., Rewarding Work: Make a real difference in the lives of our residents and know that you can help improve the quality of life of others and make a lasting impact on the lives of those you care for.

This role involves some weekend and bank holidays working, for which enhancements are paid in line with the HCC salary policy.
