Full Job Description
Our Project Support Services team has a fantastic opportunity for a Competition in Connections Support Admin to join them in Salford/Preston. Our Role The competition in connections support Admin role ensures consistency and accountability for both regulatory and process compliance within the competition in connections team. Their goal is to contribute to service excellence by working with Independent Connection Providers (ICP), other external and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance against the 'RIIO-ED2 Regulatory Instructions and Guidance: Annex G - Connections', and the Energy Networks Association (ENA) 'Competition in Connections Code of Practice '. They will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ICP design submissions are completed within regulatory standards. They will contribute to internal stretch targets and work collaboratively to enable delivery of business commitments. They will follow best practice and identify areas for concern through continual process improvement. The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English,
- Excellent organisational skills,
- Credible stakeholder skills,
- Ability to prioritise competing workloads,
- Ability to work dynamically across multiple teams with varied skillsets,
- Is self-motivated and can work independently using their own initiative,
- Strong IT skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft suite,
- Ability to meet business targets,
- Has a good understanding of our regulatory and reporting requirements,
- Has an intermediate knowledge of SAP,
- Is adaptable to accommodate the requirements of the role,
- Continuous improvement skills.
