Complex Care Assistant

We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our nurse-led team at Cera to provide care to our clients in and around the Middlesborough-area. This part-time time role is split across two locations - Stockton and Saltburn-by-sea and therefore you must be able to travel to both locations.

You'll be providing care and support to two gentlemen who have learning disabilities and epilepsy; whose individual needs include:

- Epilepsy - seizure and medication management

- Ventilation

- Personal Care

- Support to live independently in their own homes and with day-to-day tasks

This is a part-timerole of 12 hours per week across two days- Tuesday and Sunday. Overtime may be available with other clients in the local area from time to time.

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team. We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

Previous experience of care is preferred for this role

- Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle is not essential, but you must be able to travel to each location for your shifts.

- You will be subject to a DBS/PVG check and references

- You must have the Right to Work in the UK

Hours are paid in block shift pay
