Full Job Description

As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you'll provide tailored support for children with complex and diverse needs. You'll work closely with pupils requiring help with communication, mobility, and personal care, fostering their development and independence. Many pupils also have Autism, so understanding sensory needs and having a calm, patient approach is essential.

You'll benefit from regular training, coaching, and opportunities to grow professionally in the field of special education., + Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SLD, PMLD, and Autism.
+ Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and feeding, in a manner that respects pupils' dignity.
+ Support the development of pupils' communication and independence skills.
+ Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic support.

+ Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in an SEN setting.

+ Team Teach training (desirable but not essential).
