Full Job Description

We are evoke one of the world's leading betting and gaming companies with internationally renowned brands, including William Hill, 888, and Mr Green and we're looking for a Compliance Data Analyst.
Working with a growing team of multidisciplinary Compliance and Risk specialists to build world class regulatory oversight metrics you'll collaborate with product teams and peers, to develop metrics that will showcase the effectiveness of our compliance programme through data. The data will also help to inform us of where there are problems to fix.
To achieve this, you will need to collaborate with operational teams across the organisation to find data and metrics that they use to measure their successes.
What you will be doing

  • Working with Compliance oversight to identify data and information needs and turn them into functional data requirements

  • Identify appropriate data sources from multiple teams and build on top of these to create valuable regulatory risk metrics

  • Liaising with various teams of across the global organisation on the definition of data points in reports and data feeds

  • Generating and quality assure custom reports, dashboards, data extraction or analysis summarising Reg KPIs

  • Analysing comparative data and present regional and global reports related to compliance risk assessments and monitoring of compliance related issues. These reports will be used within our governance and to help inform our Board on compliance health

  • Advising on data aspects and/or techniques that can be used to exploit additional data opportunities to showcase effective oversight management or that can be used to resolve issues arising out of the data ineffectiveness

  • Developing and refining compliance metrics reporting methodology and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the risk landscape to mitigate potential data quality gaps and control deficiencies

  • Using your capability and experience in BI development to on board both senior stakeholders and colleagues alike

  • Previous experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst role

  • Proficient level in SQL, Python, Power BI

  • Problem solving skills - you enjoy using novel ways to overcome issues

  • Experience in a regulated industry is a nice to have
