Full Job Description
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable policies, standards, and regulations relevant to the organization's operations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and initiatives.
- Lead efforts to acquire and maintain necessary certifications, such as Cyber Essentials, ISO standards, or others relevant to the organization's goals.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure awareness and adherence to compliance policies.
- Identify areas of non-compliance, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits, certifications, and compliance-related activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and liaise with external auditors or certification bodies as needed.
Data protection / GDPR - Safeguarding, Experience in compliance, risk management, or related roles (formal qualifications and equivalent experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of certification processes, policy development, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex compliance requirements clearly and effectively to diverse teams.
- Proficiency in managing documentation and compliance tracking tools.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a remote team environment.
