Full Job Description
As a Compliance Manager, you'll assist the General Manager in ensuring smooth operations across the development. From managing contractors and overseeing maintenance to delivering exceptional customer service, your work will directly enhance the quality of life for all who live and work in the development. You'll also be responsible for:
- Leading site-based staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Managing all relevant documentation to maintain organisational standards.
- Collaborating with contractors to ensure maintenance is completed to a high standard., Building Management - Protecting the Value of Residents' Homes
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence.
- Manage contractors, ensuring all work meets compliance and quality standards.
- Coordinate planned maintenance and oversee stock management.
- Maintain compliance systems, such as Dwellant, to track progress and updates. Maintenance & Repairs - A Home to Be Proud Of
- Work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to address remedial works.
- Communicate with contractors for reactive maintenance and follow projects through to completion.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of emergency repairs and insurance claims. Resident Services - Enhancing Daily Life
- Respond to resident queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide updates and maintain clear communication with residents via the online portal.
- Be a visible and approachable on-site presence, supporting residents with any concerns. Team Management - A Happy Team Makes for Happy Residents
- Lead, train, and support on-site staff, including Security, Cleaners, and Estate Operatives.
- Conduct staff inductions, annual appraisals, and oversee holiday and sickness management.
- Ensure all staff have the tools and training required to excel in their roles.

We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our team and help create a safe, well-maintained, and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors alike., Proven experience in facilities/building management, ideally within residential developments or hospitality sectors. Armed forces backgrounds are also welcome. - Leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching teams.
- Contractor management expertise, with strong knowledge of Health & Safety protocols. Skills & Behaviours:
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Technological proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering excellence. Qualifications (Desirable):
- IWFM qualification or equivalent.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or a willingness to complete it within the first year.
