Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to join our team to ensure Activate Learning achieves and maintains a high standard of general compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring that Activate Learning excels in high standards of compliance, reporting, and adherence to policies and procedures, including data protection responsibilities across the group. As part of the central Administration and Compliance Team, you will support a variety of functions, including process reviews, complaints management, and training delivery. Your responsibilities will also involve creating and updating Standard Operational Procedure Guides, conducting regular audits, and providing responsive advice on data protection. Additionally, you will support the development and improvement of policies and procedures, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements. This is a permanent, full-time role working across our Oxford and Banbury campuses on a hybrid basis, with around two days per week spent in the office. What do you need to be successful as a Compliance Officer at Activate Learning?

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with colleagues at various levels. Organisational skills, resilience, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential. Ideal candidates will have experience in compliance auditing, delivering training, and managing policy procedures. Experience in an educational setting would be highly desirable.
