Full Job Description
The Laminator is responsible for preparing their workstation and finalising laminating.,
- Mould tool preparation including polishing, waxing, fitting implants and mods
- Preparing and executing gel coating
- Laying down e-glass, glueing core and fitting structural elements
- Reading and interpreting a drawing specification for compositing
- Ability to safely utilize knowledge of Composite materials, including e-glass, catalyst and resin mixing
- Finishing, experience of gel coat repair, sanding and other finishing skills are desirable but not essential.
- Once completed job, clearing, tidying and cleaning of area and focusing on the utmost hygiene and cleanliness
Time oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail Experience - Experience within a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
- Experience with Pre preg, wet lay and hand finishing with composites moulds Qualifications Any relevant City and Guilds Qualification Personal Characteristics
- High levels of attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Comfortable working at pace with high volume of work
- Team player
