Full Job Description

Tom's Guide is looking for an editor to help lead our daily coverage on all things computing and assist with the output of the Computing channel as a whole. You'll write news on the latest industry developments, and writing and producing features and opinions. You'll work on reviews on laptops, tablets and computing peripherals, while maintaining important buying guides to help our readers find the best solutions for their needs. This is an editing role, so you'll also commission content both in-house and to freelancers, to turn Tom's Guide into one of the top destinations for authoritative and useful coverage of computing.

  • Background at an online media outlet
  • Experience researching SEO trends and analyzing traffic
  • Industry contacts are a major plus
  • A desire to develop and grow AI content audience using innovative ideas and keeping informed about industry developments and trends
  • Experience promoting stories by cross-linking and social media
