Full Job Description

As Conference & Events Assistant, (6 hours Flexible Contract) you will be the first point of contact for most of our guests as they attend their event at our hotel. Your role will be to welcome guests from all over the world with a friendly smile and exceptional service. You will work closely with your team mates to ensure that together each shift is smooth and efficient and deliver the best possible guest experience every time.,

  • Executing all aspects of events and conferences, including catering, audio-visual equipment, and room set-up
  • Liaising with clients to ensure their needs are met and that all requirements are communicated to the relevant departments
  • Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are set up and functioning correctly before each event
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer queries and complaints
  • Ensure that food and beverage orders are prepared and served promptly
  • Maintain a clean and tidy dining area, including tables, chairs, and floor
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
  • Other duties as assigned by the senior hotel management
