Full Job Description

  • Work as part of an agile feature teams to design, build and deliver incremental improvements for our clients and gather customer feedback.
  • Learn the Cards processing platforms, high-level architecture, data architecture, and the configuration capabilities.
  • Define, develop and test configuration changes and manage the release process. Implement robust change management processes that adhere to IT security principles.
  • Test configuration changes and new platform releases, leveraging and developing test automation tooling.
  • Learn and apply IT policies, such as data compliance and controls
  • Analyse platform data and lead on implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to raise system issues and manage the resolution to conclusion, always looking for opportunities to improve ways of working.
  • Incident and problem management to continuously improve product performance.

  • Good understanding of software systems and configuration.
  • Ability to code basic SQL to analyse data and investigate issues.
  • Basic skills in a software language and interest to learn more (preferably node.js/typescript).
  • Experience with agile delivery methods, including planning, tracking, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions efficiently, ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in public cloud-based delivery, infrastructure delivery, and application migrations.
  • Knowledge of Cards processing platforms is highly desirable (preferably Fiserv Vision+ or TSYS TS2).
  • Knowledge of VISA payments is desirable
