Full Job Description
We are seeking a Connectivity Technical Support Specialist to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution for our customers and internal teams. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our EMEA Diabetes team on a secondment basis (12 months). You can be located in one of these sites: Watford, UK; Prague, CZ; Meerbusch, Germany; Heerlen, Netherlands or Milan, Italy. In this role you will work closely with various teams across the organization to provide expertise, support, and consultation services to address complex customer inquiries. You will also share feedback and insights to the Leadership team to support the future WeCare CareLink and Connectivity support strategy focusing on improving customer and employee experience with our connected care software. Working with EMEA Health Technology and Core R&D teams you will provide Subject Matter Expertise and support to front-line helpline teams and be the liaison for escalations. You will work and collaborate closely with Training & Quality so they can incorporate key requirements into training and troubleshooting updates. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Technical Expertise and Support: Primary responsibility is to be escalation and resolution point for WeCare teams alongside collaboration with EMEA Health Technology and Core R&D teams to provide Subject Matter Expertise.
- Training and Quality: Work with Training & Quality to incorporate key requirements into training and troubleshooting. Provide expertise, processes, education, and consultation services to answer complex customer connected care questions.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a "customer advocate" in the product support lifecycle. Coordinate with relevant teams to respond and resolve customer-reported issues within SLAs.
- Process Improvement: Work with R&D, Quality, Legal, and Privacy teams to develop and streamline tools and procedures to optimise customer response lead time. Identify opportunities for improving troubleshooting techniques and training.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ensure timely flow of information internally and externally, and to the correct audience. Collaborate with Marketing, WeCare, and R&D to ensure that internal and external needs are met within the required quality framework.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Collaborate on future vision for Connectivity Support: Share improvement opportunities and future requirements of Connectivity Support to Senior Leadership to support the development of the Connectivity Support strategy.
- Travel: Up to 10%, domestic and international
Minimum of 2+ years experience supporting customers or training Medtronic Connected Devices - Requires excellent project management skills
- Requires strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills in English
- Strong track record of high achievement against current/past objectives.
- Candid, ethical, customer-focused, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- High analytical skills and problem solving
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, a team player able to collaborate across different functions within a complex matrix organisation.
