Construction Manager

Due to growth EMCOR UK are currently recruiting for Construction Managers on our largest defence account in Berkshire. As the Construction Manager you will plan, manage, monitor and coordinate health & safety in the construction phase of EMCOR UK project implementation. What you will do:

• Liaising with the customer or their representatives.
• Liaising with the Principal Designers.
• Preparation of Construction Phase Plans.
• Organising contractors during implementation ensuring compliance to project programme.
• Providing site induction and start up meetings.
• Ensuring site is maintained to prevent unauthorised access and suitable welfare is available for use.
• Consult with work force on matters of Health Safety.
• To support all aspects of project implementation through all phases of implementation.
• To assist in the supply of all supporting installation and commissioning documentation upon completion of works.
• Identify and feedback continues improvements, innovations or ways in which the team could operate more efficiently.
• Successfully manage the delivery of installations
  
  Demonstrate a suitable amount of experience working in the Built Environment with a proven track record in planning, managing, and monitoring construction work.
• Demonstrate an exceptional level of awareness and understanding in construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.
• Construction/Build Environment Qualification such as NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND OR Degree Level aligned to their discipline/specialism.
• Hold an appropriate industry recognised safety scheme, e.g., CSCS Managers card, CCNSG Safety Passport card or suitable equivalent
• Completed the Site Managers/Supervisors Safety Training Scheme. (SMSTS, SSSTS.)
• Be mobile with full UK Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain and retain SC and or DV clearance

Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (1615 finish on Friday) Week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30.
