Construction Plant Trainer and Assessor

JN Bentley has an exciting opportunity for an NPORS Plant Trainer and Assessor to support our Midlands training facility based in Shifnal, and training facility in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Ideally, we would like the applicant to be based around the Cheshire/ West Midlands giving them ability to train at both training centres. The course content will be supplied to deliver training compliant with accreditations but also includes specific additional companywide H+S information dedicated to improving the training experience. The role will involve joining our established training team to deliver engaging courses to our 700+ direct workforce as well as external skills boot camp candidates. Our facilities: The two training centres have large outdoor areas, complete with our own plant including an 8t Excavator, Dumper, Roller and additional equipment to allow course delivery. The facilities are compliant with NPORS/CPCS training centre requirements and include multiple training classrooms
complete with a tv/projector equipment. We have developed the training centres specifically for delivering NPORS plant courses for our own employees and external candidates. - To deliver onsite plant and associated training and complete assessments Training/ assessing on the following as a minimum - Slinger/ Signallers, Forward tipping Dumper, Ride on Roller, vehicle/ plant marshaller, excavator as a crane - Assist with the development of new training solutions in support of business requirements. - Work with our training team to manage required course documentation - Maintain effective communication with relevant awarding bodies to meet requirements for plant training/assessing and certification. - To work in conjunction with the training team to continually evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes. - Always promote a professional image in support of the company values - Ensure continuing professional development

NPORS 360 instructor - Fully qualified NVQ assessor - Telehandler - Other courses that they could deliver such as manual handling, working from heights, first aid, abrasive wheels

- NPORS Plant instructor - First Aid full qualification - DBS enhanced check - or willing to complete - SMSTS or equivalent - Award in Education & training level 3 pttls or equivalent
