Full Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager at our UKPN contract, you will lead and oversee various projects aimed at enhancing and maintaining the electricity distribution network. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that we continue to provide dependable power to millions of people.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved with…

  • Manage all designated project work to ensure successful completion in accordance with safety, technical and legislative policies and procedures, as well as delivering in accordance with programme, cost and quality.

  • Undertake site visits and attend kick off meetings for all and any additional new works as well as help to secure.

  • Production of project execution plan associated with the proposed delivery strategy.

  • Demonstrate visual leadership and promote alliancing behaviour to maintain close and proactive working relationships with the client.

    Substantial project management experience in utilities and strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Extensive experience of managing P&Ls, along with being a capable user of MS Office, especially excel.

  • HV or cabling experience and a good level of NEC contract knowledge.

  • Substation experience essential.
