Full Job Description

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and delivery of objectives.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including the preparation of budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
  • Prepare and manage construction contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to the terms and conditions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors to manage costs, variations, and valuations.
  • Act as the Employer's Agent, overseeing the contractual obligations and ensuring the client's requirements are met.
  • Manage procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, and selection of contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Report on project progress to senior management, highlighting any risks or opportunities.

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in commercial and/or retail projects. You will be responsible for overseeing project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring quality, cost control, and client satisfaction.
  • In addition to strong project management skills, the successful candidate will ideally have acted in the roles of Quantity Surveyor, Employer's Agent, and Project Manager, providing well-rounded expertise across all aspects of construction project delivery.,
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in construction project management, preferably within the commercial and/or retail sectors.
  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Employer's Agent, and Project Manager, ideally within consultancy, developer, or client-side roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing project costs, contracts, and budgets.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A relevant degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is desirable.
