Full Job Description
As the Construction Secretary you will be the backbone of our Construction Department. You'll provide vital secretarial support to the Construction Director and handle key administrative tasks that keep our projects running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the centre of a dynamic team, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will make a real impact every day. You'll be:
- Providing the Construction Director with full secretarial support, including typing correspondence, taking and distributing minutes, filing, diary and email management, and making appointments and travel arrangements as necessary.
- Managing all construction administration including typing, filing, record keeping of uniforms and respective claims.
- Ensuring all site offices are supplied with stationery, PPE and other resources requested.
- Updating and maintaining records as appropriate.
- Co-ordinating site signage orders with the Graphics Department
- Producing accurate and timely reports and distributing as appropriate.
Experience of working in a secretarial role. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office Products such as Excel and Word.
- Experience working within a Construction/ house building environment would be advantageous.
