Weymouth College is a General Further Education College situated on the stunning Jurassic coastline in Dorset. We are an ambitious college offering broad learning opportunities to our students who are at the heart of all we do.

As the college continues to strengthen and grow its Construction and Building Services provision, we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic candidates to join our Construction & Building Services department as a Construction Skills Instructor.

We are now actively looking to expand our provision and seeking an instructor who can bring a wealth of skills and knowledge that will, benefit both the further education and employer services provisions. This is an opportunity for passionate and inspiring individuals to join our existing team in a newly constructed, stimulating environment.

As Construction Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering practical and theoretical instruction and skills based training from a provided scheme of work (for a maximum of 300 hours depending on curriculum plan), to a range of students to complement the teaching and learning process meeting the standards for teaching and support of learning in further education. You will also assist in the support, supervision and instruction of students undertaking full preparation of the learning environment including equipment, technology, aids, materials and resources.
