Construction Tutor

Partners in Bristol (PiB) have an exciting opportunity for a new Multi-skilled Construction Tutor to join our team delivering construction classroom courses at our training facility in Morelands Trading Estate, Gloucester., The role of the Construction Tutor will be to deliver a mixture of health and safety training and employability skills to people that are new or returning to the construction industry at level 1 and level 2.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships. They will have knowledge and experiences of the construction industry as well as practical experience across multiple trade skills. They will also need to either hold or be willing to working towards Teaching and Assessing qualifications. They will be required to teach face to face lessons and on occasions via online learning platforms. They will also need to mark and provide supportive feedback to students on their courses to help them develop and succeed.

Knowledge of current employment trends, required employability skills within the construction sector and knowledge and experience of strategies for improving learning outcomes are also essential.
