Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Programme Director

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to take a leadership role as the Programme Director for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Coventry University and the University of Warwick. The Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is a joint collaboration between Coventry University, the University of Warwick, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), other NHS providers and NHS England., This is a joint appointment and the post holder will be employed by Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust and seconded to Coventry University, supporting the successful candidate to build strong professional and clinical links whilst focussing on the leadership of the Clinical Psychology programme. There may also be potential for the candidate to maintain clinical practice in their area of expertise one day a week with one of the local NHS provider Trusts alongside the Programme Director role.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team and drive the development and delivery of our Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme. The Coventry University and University of Warwick Professional Doctorate is highly rated by the trainees who benefit from the robust partnerships with our clinical practice teams.

The successful candidate will be expected to have the required clinical and leadership experience and knowledge to be able to work at Consultant Clinical Psychologist level, alongside a passion and extensive experience in providing training and education in Clinical Psychology.
