Full Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated and experienced social worker who has skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of children and young people; to deliver expert care, advice and support to children and young people with mental health problems and to take an active role within the quadrant leadership team in delivering the service to ensure KPI's are met and sustained.
You must be a SWE registered social worker and possess experience of supervising and some leadership experience. You will be responsible for demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes and safe and effective delivery of care to children and young people.
You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible and able to use initiative and be adaptable to the changing needs of the organisation and be able to work across disciplines.
The postholder will work to develop strong relationships with our colleagues in the Local Authority to work together to support complex young people. They will have clinical oversight of the band 7, 6, 5 and student social workers. The role is key in the supporting of the wider multi-disciplinary team, to promote positive staff well-being and containment when working with complex cases. We are looking for someone whose values and ethos fit with our teams values., In conjunction with other members of the quadrant leadership team, lead in the delivery, development and implementation of Community CAMHS, providing a high quality service to meet the needs of children and young people and their carer's in their area. To ensure the continued efficient and effective management of the team, by providing leadership and supervision to social workers, students and multi-disciplinary staff., The post holder will:
+ Be responsible, with the rest of the quadrant team, for ensuring that the service experience through the CAPA care pathway, in line with CYP/IAPT principles and processes, is of the highest quality inspiring service user and public This will be achieved through high visibility, accessibility and surveillance.
+ Work collaboratively with the quadrant leadership team and the senior leadership team in the planning, development, provision and review of excellent, service user focused and cost-effective integrated community
+ Ensure that the objectives of CYP/IAPT and key social care performance indicators are Put the interest of service users and carers at the heart of all clinical decisions.
+ Support community managers in taking appropriate action on issues of social work/social care practice and professional
+ Provide strong professional leadership to social workers in the quadrant via professional line management, appraisal and clinical supervision to the team's clinical social workers.
+ Lead on the professional aspects of recruitment and deployment of social workers within a designated area of
+ Maintain effective communication and liaison between CAMHS and Children's Services in the quadrant. To consult and liaise with other related professionals in Children's Services, Health, and the voluntary sector, as appropriate, on matters of mutual concern regarding CAMHS clients in general, and Looked After Children in particular in order to promote effective service provision.
+ Deputise in the absence of the Professional Lead for Social Care in CAMHS in matters relating to social work/social care and safeguarding in
+ To assess and treat children and their families with a wide variety of emotional and behavioural disorders. Co-working with other members/disciplines of the multi-disciplinary team as and when necessary.
+ Contribute to ongoing service evaluation and audit within CAMHS.
+ To maintain a high standard of clinical records in line with the Trust and CAMHS policies and procedures.

+ Manage the quality of the provision of social work practice by:
+ Holding clinical social workers in the quadrant to account for delivery of their key performance
+ Leading initiatives to increase the care provision of best social work/social care practice and innovative service ideas
+ In conjunction with the CAMHS quadrant team, ensure effective action is taken where social work performance is at risk of falling below expected levels and standards are not
+ Ensure that all social workers receive professional supervision and undertake continued professional development in line with SWE standards and PCF
