Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit substantive consultants to our Community Paediatric team in Newham for 2024., The postholders will be expected to work within the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive community paediatric service within Specialist Children & Young People's Services and will include responsibilities in the following areas:

(i) Clinical activities: a. Consultant clinics and related administrative work b. Clinical triage of referrals c. Clinical supervision as Consultant of the Day d. MDT clinical discussions or meetings e. Any clinical patient-related meetings

(ii) Teaching: a. To contribute to departmental teaching b. To contribute to teaching of medical students particularly in relation to community child health services

(iii) Management and leadership: a. Clinical Supervision b. Clinical governance c. Management supervision d. Pathway leadership

(iv) Audit, Quality Improvement and Service Development
