Consultant Grade 10 £45,585 rising annually to £49,794. Senior Consultant Garde 11 £51,283 rising annually to £56,021, We evaluate and develop the areas of public care that matter most to people, producing swift, actionable, and insightful results that improve the health and wellbeing of citizens and communities. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and curious team players to join us as consultants. You will be responsible for leading knowledge exchange projects and ensuring successful delivery of our work. Projects could include a wide range of activities, such as facilitating a meeting, interviewing, delivering a training session, designing a survey, analysing and interpreting data, researching best practice, or writing a report. You are likely to be working on several projects at any one time. The projects we deliver are diverse and interesting, and colleagues work on a variety of projects - no two days are the same!

Contract type: Full time, permanent post. As well as strong communication and problem-solving skills, these roles require an active interest in and experience of public care - health, adult social care, children's services and / or supported housing. We are particularly interested in applications from people who have either:

  • a versatile research skill set, able to undertake qualitative and quantitative research; or,
  • been involved in programmes of change, transformation or commissioning within mental health, learning disability, older people's or children and young people's services.
  • As an experienced care professional, we are seeking someone who is keen to make a difference, recognising how the Institute makes an impact not just locally but often delivering nationally significant programmes.     Full Time, Permanent - Professional Ser The Institute of Public Care (IPC) provides applied research, evaluation, consultancy and training services to the care sector including local authorities, the NHS, government bodies, charities and the commercial sector. Our aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of citizens and communities, delivering a range of projects for individual organisations or programmes of national impact. Whilst we operate independently as a small knowledge exchange unit, we are part of Oxford Brookes University, giving us the scale and resources to deliver large projects and provide accreditation to training and development programmes. We expect our consultants to be in Oxford at least once per month, with national travel as required.
