Striving for a better service leads to a better you. And as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult inpatients, you'll know how best to support patients in our care. Working 10PAs a week over 4 or 5 days alongside the multidisciplinary team, including SAS doctors, junior doctors, and wider clinical teams, you will be the clinical expert from a medical perspective to ensure best practice care is delivered and support the team. This post in the field of General Adult Psychiatry following a service reconfiguration and closure of a mixed gender ward. The post holder will provide input into H2 (Hadrian 2) Working Age Adult (WAA) male assessment and treatment, located within Carleton Clinic, Carlisle., Hadrian 2 is an adult acute ward with currently 10 beds. The ward has roughly two admissions per week. The Nurse Consultant on the ward has RC responsibilities for the ward. The post holder will share the RC responsibilities for the caseload on the ward. There will be support for the post holder to have trainer responsibilities. The ward currently has an International Medical Fellow doctor and a trust grade doctor in the post.
