Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry, Longbridge Community Mental Health Transformation Team.
This post has been created with investment from the Community Transformation programme and the post holder will support the development and implementation of specialist pathways in the South locality.
Candidates must have full GMC registration and a CCT in Adult Psychiatry or be within six months of completion of training or be on or eligible for the Specialist Register at the time of interview., The NHSE led Community Transformation Programme lays out multi-agency integrated teams at Primary Care Networks which in Birmingham and Solihull are known as Neighbourhood Mental Health pathways. These are located within the Community Mental Health & Well Being Services (previously known as Community Mental Health Teams) at the locality level - there are presently 5 localities in Birmingham and Solihull - North, East, West, South and Solihull. The community transformation plans to develop specialist pathways in each locality.
