Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who is passionate about translating genomic data to improve the care of rare disease. Clinicians within the rare disease service have established very close working relationships with both specialist colleagues within St George's and those working in secondary and primary care across the region to provide integrated care for patients.

We are keen to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic candidate who will join an innovative and forward-thinking clinical service which benefits from close links to extensive research groups. Clinics will be held at St George's Hospital and at various locations throughout Surrey and West Sussex. Applicants are required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of attaining a CCST at the time of interview.

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest hospital and community health service providers in the UK. It is co-located with St George's University of London, which trains medical students and carries out advanced medical research. The South West Thames Centre for Genomics is based at St George's Hospital in Tooting and provides an integrated clinical and genetic laboratory service to a population of 4 million across South West London, Surrey and Sussex.
