Full Job Description

+ To deliver excellent devices & heart failure services, for the population of Greater Manchester and surrounding areas
+ To contribute to the planning and development of devices & heart failure services
+ To support service development
+ To provide flexible support and develop in reach services across MFT sites
+ To support teaching and research within the department
+ To contribute to the complex device service, COVID-19 vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients from the virus when working in our healthcare settings. Whilst COVID-19 vaccination is not currently a condition of employment, we do encourage our staff to get vaccinated. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join the Devices & Heart Failure team at Manchester Royal Infirmary, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be part of a team of 50 Consultant Cardiologists at the Manchester Heart Institute. The Cardiology department is staffed with energetic, forward-looking cardiologists, and we're looking for someone similar to join our team.
The role presents an excellent opportunity to showcase your comprehensive understanding of cardiac care, specifically Complex Devices pand Heart Failure pateints.. You will be involved in shaping the Heart Failure service for the future, inputting into the development of a business case for expansion of the dedicated Heart Failure workforce comprised of consultants, specialist nurses and allied health professionals., MFT is England's largest NHS Trust with a turnover of £2.6bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts. We're creating an exceptional integrated health & social care system for the 1 million patients who rely on our services every year.
