Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine

As a Consultant in diabetes at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for developing the Diabetes Technologies Service and enhancing the quality of Antenatal Diabetes care. Additionally, you will lead the Lipid Service with support from a Biochemist and a Specialist Pharmacist., Some duties may involve:

Provide specialist in reach to the Acute Medical Unit (ACU) and see diabetes and endocrinology in patient referrals.

Provide diabetes advice and clinical care to the diabetes antenatal service.

Mentor and supervise the training of junior medical staff on the team in conjunction with the other consultant physicians in the department.
