- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate prescribed treatment and care for patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality with patient's carers and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Act as a professional role model setting standards of practice.
- Promote clinical effectiveness and opportunities for teaching junior colleagues and students.
- Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Administer medicines in accordance with Trust policy.
- Develop clinical skills and participate in continuous professional development.

Our expert team have a large multidisciplinary team (MDT) consisting of nurses, nursery nurses, medics, consultants, and allied health care professionals, all with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Our NICU is one of three Level 3 centres operating in the South West neonatal network.
