Full Job Description

University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint a consultant to the department of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical care at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The post is required to meet the planned increase in clinical activity this year as well as ensuring a consultant led service at all times., The department of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical Care comprises 27 consultants and 39 trainees. This post supports all aspects of anesthesia for neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology including Mechanical Thrombectomy. The appointee will have both fixed sessions and work flexibly to cover consultant leave within the department as required. All candidates must be eligible for full GMC registration and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of receiving CCST/ CCT in Anaesthesia at the time of interview. Essential qualifications for this post include FRCA or equivalent.

    £105,504 to £139,882 a year Per annum + London weighting (On call Category A Freq Low 3.0%)
