Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician with specialist interest in Minimal access Surgery
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with an interest in minimal access surgery to complement our existing team. We hope to advertise a substantive post within the year. We have a busy outpatient gynaecology service offering the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic outpatient gynaecological services. While minimal access surgery is undertaken by all gynaecology consultants, we are looking to build a wider team with advanced laparoscopic skills. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the expansion of this area of expertise. Kingston Hospital has an enthusiastic Trust Research lead and team that actively supports CRN projects, Principal investigators and recruitment into multicentre trials.

This post includes a general gynaecology clinic, gynaecology operating and acute gynaecology cover. The post holder will also contribute to the well-established and busy Obstetric service with day-time labour ward cover and caesarean section lists. They will participate in the out of hours on call cover for both obstetrics and gynaecology.
