Consultant Respiratory Physician
Speciality Medicine Directorate, Medical Care Group (all our jobs include work across both our RBH and PH sites)
We are seeking to appoint a new Consultant Respiratory Physician with general medicine accreditation. The appointment is to the University Hospitals Dorset Respiratory Team with an expectation that the successful candidate will work across both our Poole and Bournemouth hospital sites. The post is for 10 PAs, less than full-time work can be negotiated, our expectation is a full time post is split over four days. The posts will contain general respiratory medical care and most specialist interests can be accommodated but we are particularly interested in a candidate with an interest in our interstitial lung disease service and in clinical governance.
The successful applicants will join us at an exciting time of great change and opportunity. The University Hospitals Dorset Respiratory Team comprises fourteen Respiratory Consultants who work closely with a team of Respiratory Physiologists, Lung Cancer Specialist Nurses, TB Specialists, the Dorset Adult Integrated Respiratory Service (DAIRS) Team and our inpatient wards and colleagues. Joining us at this time of transformation in the Trust and department gives the applicant the unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the future service of UHD Respiratory Medicine.
