Full Job Description

The job is a full-time post comprising of 10 PAs with supervision of the junior doctors and specialist nurses. There will also be an on-call commitment to cover the Respiratory medicine medical rota on a 1:12 basis, contribute to the Acute Medicine rota 1:17 and contribute 0.7PA to work flexibly to support General Internal Medicine.

The appointee must hold the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, or equivalent, and have completed higher specialist training in Respiratory Medicine.

Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK. In accordance with the consultant appointment regulations, all other categories of doctors must be on the Specialist Register.
