Full Job Description

1. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to provide a service in Oncology 2. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to play a full part in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department. This includes being on-call for telephone advice and major incidents. 3. To provide cover for Consultant and Senior colleagues in respect of periods of leave. 1. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to take part in medical audit and research as appropriate. 1. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to ensure that the requirements of clinical governance are met. 1. To ensure that there are adequate arrangements for hospital staff involved in the care of your patients to be able to contact you when necessary., 1. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to provide a service in Oncology 2. The Trust also has 56 rehabilitation beds at West Park Hospital and 54 beds at Cannock Chase Hospital.   • Cannock Chase Hospital - general surgery, orthopaedics, breast surgery, urology, dermatology and medical day case investigations and treatment (including endoscopy) ;
  • More than 20 community sites - community services for children and adults, walk-in centres and therapy and rehabilitation services ;
  • Primary care - Ten GP practices have now joined us and offer extended opening hours to patients.
