Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Consultant within Obstetrics. The successful post holder will have experience and an interest in Fetal Medicine. As a Consultant at Royal Oldham Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of women's healthcare, contributing to our commitment to excellence and innovation. You will be a strong collaborator, confident in working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care for both mother and baby. You will act as role model who champions our values and behaviours with a passion to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care to patients., Your responsibilities will revolve around the specialised care of unborn infants diagnosed with congenital abnormalities or other fetal conditions. This will encompass advanced ultrasound diagnostics, genetic counselling, and collaborating with other specialists to develop and implement tailored care plans. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of fetal interventions and cutting-edge technologies, striving to optimise outcomes for both the foetus and the expectant parents. As a Consultant in Fetal Medicine, you will actively contribute to research and education, disseminating knowledge to your peers and fostering a culture of excellence in the field. Your dedication to patient-centred care, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements will be paramount in ensuring the highest standards of care and maintaining Royal Oldham Hospital's position as a centre of excellence in Obstetrics.
