Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine

The significant expansion in the COE Department has been mainly underpinned by the expansion of front-line frailty services to achieve our Trust's Frailty Pathway and provision of sustainable orthogeriatric and surgical liaison and perioperative services.

We are seeking to recruit dynamic and passionate Consultant Geriatricians who will join the existing team of five supportive and dedicated Consultant colleagues, all of whom embrace Trust values.

This is an exciting time with departmental expansion and appointees able to directly influence and participate in the redevelopment of the services we provide.

Our hospital has an excellent reputation for teaching Imperial College medical students.. The Care of the Elderly department has a strong interest in teaching and training.

We provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East.

We have over 6,000 members of staff that arePROUD to Carefor nearly one million people. Both hospitals provide full clinical services, including full maternity, emergency and children's, in addition to a range of community-based services across London, such as award-winning sexual health and HIV clinics.

We are currently spending £25 million on expanding our adult and neonatal critical care facilities at Chelsea and Westminster and redevelopment of our children's unit at West Middlesex - in partnership with our charity, CW+ and generous donors.
