An exciting opportunity has become available for a Consultant Prosthetist to work within the ENT Prosthetics service, part of Salford Care Organisation.
The Consultant Practitioner will be responsible for providing expert clinical, scientific, advisory and support services to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures or rehabilitation using implants, splints and prostheses., The Consultant Practitioner will be responsible for providing expert clinical, scientific, advisory and support services to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures or rehabilitation using implants, splints and prostheses.
They will provide consultancy and work across the four pillars of practice (clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research) putting expertise in place across systems of health and social care.
At least 50% of their time will be in clinical practice ensuring that this advances and underpins practice within their specialty and beyond.
To contribute to the strategic direction and implementation of the corporate objectives and clinical strategy within the local service.
To proactively lead the service within the Division/Care Group/service, providing support, guidance and direction to achieve optimal clinical effectiveness, and financial outcomes.
