Consultant Psychiatrist Adult Inpatient, Eating Disorder

Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Inpatient Eating Disorders (ED) Permanent, Full-Time 10PAs (Part -Time applications welcomed) The post holder will provide psychiatric and medical assessment and management of adults with ED in the specialist inpatients Eating Disorders Unit. They will be well supported by a team of junior doctors (ST, CT and FY2), and a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will provide clinical leadership and consultation within the team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the service, including the intensive community treatment and day patient services, as well as other stakeholders, including acute hospital partners.

Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service is an all age ED Service with a vibrant and skilled multidisciplinary team working across a a variety of evidence based treatment pathways targeted to the specific needs of different groups of patients. Both CAMHS and Eating Disorder services have grown considerably over the last 7 years and very significant new investment is currently coming into services as part of the Long Term Plan.
