Full Job Description

We are now seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatristto join our City East CMHTon a full time or part time basis. Every opportunity will be given to encourage personal initiatives, research, specialist interests, teaching, training, management, and leadership, as well as arears of professional specialist interest you may have., We want a Consultant Psychiatrist who can Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patients and carers The post holder will be required to work in partnership at both strategic and operational levels with relevant and external stakeholders. The post holder will need to ensure that people who use services, carers and advocates are treated with respect and dignity Provide excellent clinical leadership and actively develop your team along with expert advice to our hospital and community specialists, managers and directors on what is needed to deliver excellent care and future strategic directions. The Consultant has a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and for the proper functioning of the department. The consultant will liaise with the General Practitioners, hospital and community specialists and other agencies wherever relevant. attached job description. You will engage with the development of your Job Plan., line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
