Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled consultant Adult Psychiatrist with broad experience to join our team at University College Hospital. The post-holder will be the main Adult Psychiatrist providing clinical support to GI patients through avoiding unnecessary medicalisation, formulating comprehensive treatment plans, facilitating efficient MDT meetings, reducing length of stay and fostering collaborative relationships.

The post-holder will be expected to carry out 2 Programmed Activities (PAs) at UCLH. It is expected that the post-holder will attend a weekly ward round in GI to support effective discharge planning of admitted patients and to attend the weekly MDT to discuss patients and support plans for complex cases. Close liaison with UCLH GI Physiology clinical staff and with local community-based services will be essential.
