Full Job Description
The consultant will be a member of the LD senior management team, leading on psychological service development across LD services.
The trust has strong links with the Staffordshire Clinical Doctorate course and there is an emphasis on leading and developing psychological clinical research as part of the role.
Applicants will be a core member of LD services with multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in clinical supervision is required to supervise Senior Clinical Colleagues. Leadership experience is essential, including strategic and workforce planning for the psychology team., Responsible for the delivery of highly specialist psychological care to clients with learning disabilities with highly complex physical and mental health conditions which include challenging behaviours and possible risk of physical aggression.

To provide specialist clinical supervision, leadership and training to the Psychology core team and colleagues within the designated psychology services and to other members of the multidisciplinary team, where required.
