The principal role of this post is to provide clinical services in Radiology, working closely with 4 other radiology consultant colleagues. The post holder will be responsible for delivery of high-quality clinical care for patients being seen through the imaging department. A suitable post holder will engage in clinical research in imaging. Applicants are required to be fully registered Medical Practitioners and must be on the GMC's Specialist Register or within six months of eligibility at the time of interview., Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals are renowned for excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiothoracic disease and highly rated for research and teaching. Already the largest UK postgraduate specialist heart and lung centre with sites in Chelsea and Wimpole St, London and Harefield, Middlesex with Harefield Hospital being one of UK's largest heart and lung transplant centres. Our Heart, Lung and Critical Care Group within Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust expands our services to additional specialist Hospitals including St Thomas' and Guy's Hospitals, as well as community and other services., This is an additional post for a Locum Consultant in Radiology (whole-time) based at Harefield Hospital site of the Trust. The post holder will be responsible for delivery of high-quality clinical care for patients being seen through the Radiology department. To provide clinical services in Radiology at Harefield Hospital. To engage in clinical research in imaging at a level in keeping with the 5
- research rating of Kings College London. To supervise and deliver clinical and technical education in cardio-thoracic radiology, and to maintain the international teaching profile of the Trust. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate commitment to training and research especially, but not exclusively in the field of imaging. The post holder will participate in the delivery of a lung screening programme on this site and work closely with the other North West London sites Guy's and St Thomas' celebrates, respects and values the diversity of its staff and patients.
