Consultant Radiologist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Imaging

Together with consultant colleagues, the appointee will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynaecological radiological services to the Trust. This will be at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Jessop Wing and Weston Park Hospital (WPH).
The majority of Gynaecological ultrasound is performed by sonographers. The appointee will be expected to perform complex examinations (including transvaginal scans) and offer expert advice to the sonographers.
The appointee will also be expected to support the service for the gestational trophoblastic disease at WPH, one of the two centres in the UK treating this group of patients. Appropriate training will be provided if necessary.
The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team in order to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment., Non-UK/EEA applicants should ensure they are aware of the recent changes to the Immigration rules.
