Full Job Description

As a Consumer Duty Manager at Benchmark, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our Consumer Duty initiatives. You will lead the development, oversight, and execution of these initiatives, directly reporting to the Group Propositions & Adviser Services Director. Your efforts will ensure that Consumer Duty outcomes are skillfully managed, risks are mitigated, and compliance is upheld across the board.,

  • Compile essential Consumer Duty metrics for quarterly and annual reports.
  • Assess, monitor, and steer Benchmark's alignment with Consumer Duty outcomes.
  • Manage annual fair value assessments, ensuring management and Board approval.
  • Facilitate regulatory reporting and information exchange within the distribution chain.
  • Conduct client surveys, analyze feedback, and pinpoint opportunities for service improvement.
  • Advise business units on best practices for achieving positive client outcomes.
  • Provide Consumer Duty obligation training and share "Lessons Learned" within the company.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between various stakeholders and the Group Propositions & Adviser Services Director.
  • Organize meeting agendas, compile minutes, and oversee action items and commitments.

    Demonstrated excellence in documentation and senior management support.
  • Proficiency in large data set analysis, exception reporting, and extracting actionable insights.
  • Robust knowledge of relevant regulations and their business implications.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the financial services industry.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with UK Consumer Duty regulations.
  • Understanding of financial services industry-specific risk management techniques.
  • Outstanding process management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset geared towards continuous learning and improvement.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
